A Registered Support Organization is an agency that performs support duties mandated by law on behalf of companies accepting foreign workers under the Specified Skilled Worker program.
Under the Specified Skilled Worker program, companies are required to provide living and employment support to foreign workers, and they may outsource these duties to a Registered Support Organization.
*Only organizations registered with the Immigration Services Agency of Japan are eligible to serve as Registered Support Organizations.

Companies can either “provide this support in-house” or “outsource it to a Registered Support Organization.”
